Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data LicensorPro collects and how it is used. The data controller is Suresh Kumar Meena (sole proprietor), Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Contact: [email protected].

1. Data we collect

  • Account data — your name, email address, and a hashed password when you register or purchase.
  • License & activation data — to operate licensing and updates, our plugins send the site URL (and a hashed form of it), the activating server's IP address, and WordPress/PHP/plugin versions to our licensing server.
  • Support data — the contents of messages you send us.
  • Usage logs — standard server logs (IP, timestamp, endpoint) used for security, rate-limiting, and debugging.

2. Payment data

Purchases are handled by Polar Software, Inc. as our merchant of record. Your payment details are collected and processed by Polar under their privacy policy; we receive order and customer details (name, email, country, and the card brand/last digits) but never your full card number.

3. How we use data

  • To issue, validate, and update your licenses, and to deliver downloads.
  • To send transactional email (license keys, receipts, renewal and dunning notices) via Amazon SES.
  • To provide support and to secure the service (fraud prevention, rate-limiting, abuse handling).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Cookies

We use a first-party session cookie to keep you signed in to the customer portal and admin area, plus a CSRF token for form security. We do not install third-party advertising or tracking cookies by default.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can export or request deletion of your data from the customer portal, or email [email protected] and we will respond within the time required by law.

6. Retention

We keep account, license, and order records while your account is active and for as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Server and API logs are rotated on a rolling schedule.

7. International transfers & processors

Our service runs on cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services). We rely on these processors: Polar (Polar Software, Inc. — payments / merchant of record) and Amazon Web Services (hosting and email via SES). Data may be processed in countries other than your own; we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced by email and/or in the customer portal.
